Change color themes in Ubuntu




Hate Ubuntu Orange Color Scheme? Here is the Solution !!
Change Themes using Unity Tweak Tool


   Most of the people who uses Ubuntu as their  OS doesn't like Ubuntu orange color scheme and there are no any option to change the color scheme from the desktop settings. This post will help those who need to remove the orange color completely from the Ubuntu.



        Before we begin you need to download following tool and the theme packs, and icon packs

1.Install Unity Tweak Tool
   In terminal type
  •   sudo add-apt-repository ppa:freyja-dev/unity-tweak-tool-daily 
  •   sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install unity-tweak-tool 
 2.Blue icon pack
  Gnome-look.org Clarity mono dark

 3.Install following Theme packs
    In Terminal Type

  •        sudo add-apt-repository ppa:noobslab/themes
  •     sudo apt-get update
  •     sudo apt-get install zoncolor-themes
  •     sudo apt-get install ambiance-blue  
  •     sudo apt-get install zoncolor-icons
 4.Open the Unity Tweak and go to the Theme in Appearance category change
     your theme to whatever you want
    



 5. Open your Home folder and ctrl+h to display the hidden folders and copy
     the downloaded "Clarity-mono-dark" icon pack to the ".icons" folder

 6. Open the Unity Tweak and go to the Icons in Appearance category change
     select "Clarity-mono-dark" or whatever you like and your done
