Install Conky for Ubuntu

Install Conky for Ubuntu



  Conky is a free software system monitor for the X Window System. It is available for Linux,  Conky is highly configurable and is able to monitor many system variables including the status of the CPU, memory, swap space, disk storage, temperatures, processes, network interfaces etc ,
              This guide will help you to install conky to your system and displat some conky gadgets in your desktop in order to see datails of the system and as well as decorating your display




1. Install Conky


sudo apt-get install conky conky-all


2. Get Some gadgets from noobslab

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:noobslab/noobslab-conky
sudo apt-get update


Install infinity-conky

sudo apt-get install infinity-conky

Install conky-orange

$ cd && wget -O orangec-noobslab-u.zip http://goo.gl/Vcq4R


$ unzip orangec-noobslab-u.zip && rm orangec-noobslab-u.zip



3.Configure conky

After you install conky , search conky in unity dash

Enter your display width,height,Internet interface
