Remote Power Management System (Part 2 - What you need)

Before we begins our project first we look some skills that you want.

1. Android App Developing knowledge 
2. Web Designing + developing knowledge
3. Some basic electronic knowledge

Don't worry if you not good in those.Because in this post I'll teach everything that you don't know.Now here are the hardware parts that you want in this project.

• Roving Networks RN-XV WiFi module (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/11048)
• Breakout Board (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/8276?)
• SMA female to U.FI cable  & External wifi antenna
• 2x 10µF x 2 and 2x 0.1µF Capacitors
• 5V to 3.3V Regulator (LM3940)
• 4.7k & 1k Resistors
• 2N3904 Transistors
• 12DCV source
• 230VAC/12VDC Relays (Based on your country)
• Diodes
• Some color LEDs & Power switches
• Other Electronic equipments

 Most of them I purchased from local market.but some of them from Sparkfun(which is good/fast/trusted site) & and from eBay.I'll inform about other little little components later.
And that Breakout Board because our wifi module has a space of  0.1''.son in order to use it with normal boards (0.5'' space between two pins) i used that.
SMA female to U.FI cable is not necessary when you not using an external antenna.
 And you need a 12V power source to your project.I just used a simple nokia phone charger and it only cost me around $2.and if you want you can design that circuit buy yourself also.It's upto you.

For the web site part you need to know about little bit php.And you need to run a web server because in our situation we'll use a local web server.And now you can do that in easy on Windows environments with using some tools like WAMP or XAMPP.These software tools install apache servers and relevant tools to run a web server in your local computer.I'll talk about those things in detail later.

And for the Android app you need to know about java + xml.And xml is just nothing big.but you need to know java much more than that.Because in our project Android app design is the most critical part.And in java you need to know about Socket programming.But don't worry i upload the completed source codes.And also I'm here to help you at anytime.So no need to worry if you not familiar with those things.

And you need a way to communicate with your wifi module for testing purpeses like to configure the initiate settings.So it uses telnet and it's very easy.so no worries on that.
